Astrid Fitzgerald Post Modern Xenos I and V Serigraphs

About the Item

Astrid Fitzgerald, (Born: 1938 - Wil-St. Gallen, Switzerland), is known for geometric abstraction and printmaking. The pair of serigraphs are signed, titled and numbered in pencil in the lower margin, Astrid Fitzgerald, Xenos I and V, 1979. 'Xenos I' is numbered 13/60 and 'Xenos V' is numbered 5/15, respectively. Framing treatment consists of a bronzed metal frame, matte board backing and under glass. Good overall condition with no visible rips, tears or restorations. Both pieces have not been viewed out of the frame. No visible foxing. Some minor scratches and dings to the bronzed finish metal frames. No visible chips or cracks to the glass. The overall dimensions with the frame are 1.25" deep x 38.75" wide x 27.5" high. The sheet dimensions are 35.5" wide x 25.75" high. Fitzgerald's installation, "Amish Quilts", was chosen by the Jury of the Artcanal to represent the United States at the recent expo 02 in Switzerland.
